In the ongoing SAFF CHAMPIONSHIP being played in Banglore, India on Saturday, 24 June 2023. The host nation India beat Nepal by 2 to 0. This is India’s second victory in the championships, after crushing Pakistan by 4 to 0.
The match is being played at Sree Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore, and aired on the DD Sports channel.
In the match against Nepal, Sunil Chhetri and Naorem Mahesh Singh scored the Goals. Once again Sunil Chhetri outclassed the Nepal footballers with his skillful dribbling with the ball and ensured that India had the 64% of possession of the ball throughout the match. This gave India a better chance to win the game.
In a country like India where cricket is given more importance than other games. Indian Footballers have given us all reasons to cheer and support Indian footballers financially and morally.
I think we should all support the team by following them and sharing their victories on Social media platforms. At least this much we can do for our Footballers who play and get trained with limited resources and exposure, as compared to their International counterparts.
